This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard personal information when you visit https://www.jointhehub.com or any related pages, submit information through the Site, apply to join TheHUB, subscribe to our communications, or otherwise interact with us online or offline in connection with the Site or TheHUB’s activities.

This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties, including third-party websites, blockchains, protocols, validators, rollups, applications, wallets, messaging platforms, analytics providers, social media platforms, or other services that may be linked to or referenced from the Site. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

2. Personal Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may collect personal information you provide when you interact with the Site, apply to join TheHUB, contact us, subscribe to communications, communicate with our team, or participate in events or ecosystem activities. This may include:

(a) identifiers and contact details, such as first name, last name, email address, Telegram handle, WhatsApp number, organization name, project name, title, role, and business contact information;
(b) application or onboarding information, such as the nature of your organization or project, technical capabilities, business activities, geographic location, eligibility information, references, partner information, and related due-diligence information;
(c) communications you send to us, including the contents of messages, inquiries, submissions, attachments, and related metadata;
(d) newsletter and marketing preferences, including whether you opt in to receive communications from us;
(e) event, meeting, or community information, such as registration details, attendance information, and preferences; and

TheHUB may review or process publicly available blockchain, protocol, ecosystem, project, validator, wallet, or transaction-related information in connection with evaluating projects, coordinating ecosystem activities, or understanding digital-asset infrastructure. Public blockchain information may be publicly visible, persistent, and difficult or impossible for TheHUB to modify or delete.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information for the following purposes:

(a) operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Site;
(b) receiving, reviewing, evaluating, and responding to applications, inquiries, and other communications;
(c) evaluating eligibility for participation in TheHUB, related programs, ecosystem initiatives, partnerships, or other business relationships;
(d) communicating with you about TheHUB, the Site, applications, potential partnerships, meetings, events, updates, and administrative matters;
(e) sending newsletters, marketing communications, or other updates where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law;

8. Blockchain and On-Chain Information

Public blockchain networks are, by design, transparent and generally immutable. Information recorded on public blockchains, including wallet addresses, transactions, smart-contract interactions, validator activity, staking-related activity, governance activity, and other on-chain information, may be publicly visible and may remain permanently accessible.

TheHUB does not control public blockchain networks and cannot modify, delete, reverse, or hide information recorded on them. If you choose to interact with public blockchain networks, protocols, validators, wallets, or related third-party services referenced on or associated with the Site, you do so subject to the inherent properties and risks of those networks and services.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to operate the Site, evaluate applications, communicate with you, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect our rights.

Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, limitation periods, and legitimate business needs. When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in a manner designed to protect against unauthorized access or use.

We do not knowingly sell personal information in exchange for money. We collect and use these categories of personal information for the purposes described in Section 3 of this Policy.

We may disclose these categories of personal information to the categories of recipients described in Section 5 of this Policy.

Sale or Sharing:

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Certain analytics, advertising, social media, or similar disclosures may be considered “selling” or “sharing” under California law. Where applicable, you may opt out as described in this Policy.

We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information through the Site. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless specifically requested and authorized.

17. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no uniform industry standard for recognizing or responding to such signals, the Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
